GENERAL SUMMARY
At the direction of our Technical Services Management Team, the Technical Service Representative/Systems Technician provides water, wastewater, and process water compliance services and operations to our clientele. The scope of this work includes but is not limited to water quality sampling, sensor and equipment calibration, chemical pump maintenance, small package deliveries, and new system installation, and support. Additionally, the scope includes CloudHSI configuration using the Intelligent Assets web configurator, Pondsentry panel troubleshooting for existing panels, and assistance and support with new Pondsentry installs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Technical Services Representative
- This position will be assigned a territory with 30-50 customers and will conduct technical and compliance services on wastewater, potable water and process water systems
- Responsible for cleaning and calibrating electronic equipment/ sensors located at customer locations
- Collect all compliance samples associated with assigned clients at intervals prescribed by client, HSI Management and compliance requirements
- Responsible for maintenance and repair of chemical pumps, hoses, piping, low voltage wiring and other equipment located in the field and at the corporate offices
- Maintain adequate supplies in your assigned field service vehicle and in inventory at the corporate office
- Service customer process water-closed loop and cooling water and wastewater treatment applications
- Ensure that pumps and controllers are programmed and communicating properly, and that reliable HSI installations and systems are functioning as intended and designed
- Generate field service reports after each site visit and issue to client contact list
- Provides routine and pre-emptive maintenance services
- Conduct sampling at the direction of the Technical Services Management and Chain of Custody forms
- Responsible for installation and construction of infrastructure, at the direction of the Operations Manager to support company’s products and services. These skills include trenching, power tool use, PVC pipe and conduit installations, control equipment installation, and general construction tasks
- Logs data into the log sheets/spreadsheet on a weekly basis
- Update and maintains client service tracking forms. Add new items, delete non-applicable items and work with HSI compliance reporting team
- Check lab results and Data Graphs frequently to catch discrepancies and errors and gain insight into trends and system performance
- Constantly build and maintain client relationships and call and contact frequency
- Obtain and maintain Grade 2 State Potable Water license certifications in both Treatment and Distribution
B. CloudHSI, PondSentry Program, and Intelligent Assets
- Working with our PondSentry Panel building contractor(s) and Clearblade to determine correct Modbus Registers needed to communicate and display data for the client on Cloud HSI
- First-time client setup (Asset), configuration and client user creation in Intelligent Assets (Cloud HSI)
- Making requested changes to the Clients’ Cloud HSI asset and/or granting access to new users
- Ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of panels not reporting that may include onsite visits, programming new credentials, rewiring of sensor equipment, uploading new program into PLC’s, and troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Expected to participate in Clearblade/HSI monthly calls and training sessions and maintain a good partnership with the Clearblade tech support team
- Responsible for creating and submitting trouble tickets via the Intelligent Assets portal
QUALIFICATIONS and Job Requirements
- Clean driving record, as the employee in this role will have a company vehicle and spend 70%–90% of their time in the field at our client locations
- Basic computer skills: email, typing, and data entry into company laptop
- Ability to lift 50 pounds without issue
- Self-starter/ self-sufficient
- Takes direction well and collaborates closely with customers, teammates, and coworkers

Performance Review Basis
Technical Service Representative/Systems Technician will be reviewed and evaluated by supervisor on an annual basis. Performance will be judged based on the ability to carry out the functions of the position as described in Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
